MINDFUL MAKING #39 – Easter knitting 2022

Welcome or welcome back to the mindfulmaking YouTube channel. In episode 39 you will see two finished objects. The Scrappy Striber top featuring a wonderful stripy mix of leftover yarn and the Baselball Jersey, a jumper for my husband, which with it’s saddle shoulder construction proved to be somewhat challenging, not to knit but to sew on. A summer top has jumped on the needles, and we chat about a new obsession of mine – the gut. Grab a cuppa and settle in.

Knitting is my mindfulness practice. That is where I set down to breathe to relax and to focus. Knitting nourishes our built-in desire to create and beyond all the mental and health benefits of knitting we even get beautiful wearable garments.
