YARN

2 balls of Mayflower Premium Cashmere, 100% cashmere (125 m / 136 yards per 25 g).

The sample is knitted in colourway 05.

If substituting yarn,
180 m / 196 yards of a fingering / lace weight yarn with similar yardage.

OR 100 m / 110 yards each of a fingering weight yarn and a silk mohair held together using 4.00 mm / US 6 needle for similar finished measurements.

GAUGE

28 sts and 46 rows = 10x10cm / 4×4” in pattern (27 sts and 42 rows in stockinette), blocked.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

3.00 mm / US 2.5 needles (or size required to obtain gauge).
1 removable stitch marker, blunt darning needle.

TECHNIQUES

Yarn overs, right and left leaning decreases, knit and purl stitches – that’s it.
